Severine Petras (CEO/President), founder of Lamplight Communities Management and Operations Team. Ms Petras is responsible for the financial and overall management of all Lamplight Communities. She oversees and assists in the transition of all acquisitions/construction projects as well as monitors all sales and marketing efforts at the facility level.
Ms Petras has more than 10 years of Investment banking experience. Sevy began her career in Public Finance at NatCity Investments in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2000 NatCity relocated her to their Chicago office. While in Chicago she joined 53rd Securities to launch their Chicago Public Finance group. In 2006 she joined the Originations team of Merrill Lynch Capital in the Healthcare Real Estate Division. There she focused solely on the financing of Skilled Nursing, Assisted and Independent Living facilities.
Ms Petras serves on several boards including area Chambers of Commerce, Progress Alliance Economic Development CAC in Jefferson County Ohio, Coalition for trails in Jefferson County, Ohio and is President and co-founder of the not-for-profit Jefferson County Senior Services who are currently working to build a Senior Center and provide additional services for the senior population in Jefferson County Ohio (her families' hometown).
Ms Petras received her BA and MPA from The University of Akron.
Bobby Petras (Director of Operations), primary responsibilities during transition and construction are to ensure there are no disruptions of current services to existing residents. Additionally he will be coordinating the hiring process and training of staff to meet the standards of Lamplight as well as the state in which we are operating. He will also be responsible for on-going training required as laws and technologies change. Bobby is our liaison with state and federal provider licensing as well as any surveys that occur at the facility.
Bobby has more than six years of management, staffing and training experience in the very competitive industry of cellular phones. Challenged with a high-turnover and continual technological advances within the industry, Bobby understands the difficulties in being a small, regional provider and competing with the corporate giants. Bobby is well respected in his families' hometown Toronto, Ohio and the Fort Wayne, Indiana community for his prominent High school, College and Professional Football career.
Mr Petras received his BA from Tiffin University.
Debbie Petras (Director of Sales & Marketing), will be the Intermediate Administrator for each facility. Debbie works one on one with current and prospective residents and their families to tailor the right plan for both health and financial needs. She is also responsible for all sales and marketing efforts.
Debbie has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare and senior care industry. Debbie has demonstrated abilities in the management and operations of an assisted living facility. Debbie also brings with her extensive experience in procuring and assistance with identifying potential financial qualifications and benefits such as, VA, Medicaid, Assisted Living Waiver, Medicare, Passport and Insurance navigation.
Mrs Petras is co-founder and Board member of the Jefferson County Senior Services not-for-profit. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Steubenville, Ohio YWCA. And also volunteers her time for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
Mrs Petras received her Associates degree in Medical Technology from Cleveland State University
Brandie Petras (Director of Social Services & Activities), will be responsible for all activities planning and coordination for all facilities operated by Lamplight Communities. She will also be liaison with family members as well as social workers that will make recommendations to facilities for placement of residents. Having an experienced social worker on staff will allow us to offer a more counselor approach to our staff and residents.
Ms Petras is a practicing social worker (BA) with more than 6 years of experience. She began her career working with the elder population in West Virginia. She has been trained to work with people with severe handicaps as well as will the senior population suffering from ALZ and dementia. She has developed and managed assistant groups that included counselors run groups for patients as well as for family members in various states in the Midwest.
Ms Petras received her BSA from Kent State University.
Partnered with the Lamplight Communities, LLC management team is Ben Klein, Principal of Platinum Healthcare, LLC (“PH”). PH was formed in 2001 to acquire and manage long-term care facilities. At present, PH owns and operates 13 facilities and operates 2 additional facilities under long-term lease. Combined there are 2,138 units under management in the states of IL, MO and PA. Lamplight Communities is privileged to have this additional resource to our team. Many of the back office responsibilities are handled under Platinum's offices.
